If we assume that the ScreenPad is a smartphone dock that lets you connect to an external display/monitor, we can narrow down ScreenPad specs. However, since our site launch date, we’ve considered that the ScreenPad is some type of Windows 10 device/accessory/feature that is not related to a smartphone dock at all. Our initial thoughts were a device similar to the Samsung Dex Station but it’s safe to say at this point the ScreenPad has nothing to do with Android OS.
Inching closer to an unveil at Computex 2018, we see some evidence pointing to the possibility that the ScreenPad could be incorporated into an actual laptop design. In this situation, specs would be irrelevant. This could turn out to be an enhanced touchpad.
If the ScreenPad was to be a docking type station (which we believe is incorrect at this point) then it would likely have an assortment of ports including:
- HDMI port
- 1 x USB-C ports
- Ethernet port
- 2 x USB 2.0 ports
- Windows 10 (64-bit)
- NVidia GPU
